SHEIKHUPURA - A delegation of traders community led by President Ali Abid met the District Coordination Officer (DCO) Ali Sarfraz in his office and apprised him the complaints and problems confronting to the business community of stadium shopping centre. They told the DCO that largest business centre of Sheikhu-pura, having 118 shops had been facing hardships and its condition was being deteriorated day-by-day due to the negligence of authorities concerned. They said that the centre did not have streetlights, proper sewerage and drainage system that was causing great problem for the customers and locals. The administration also never provided security around centre due to which dacoity incidents were also common there. They said that four doctors were presently practicing in the stadium and thousands of people residing adjacent to stadium get treatment from them but if the said clinics were get closed due to lack of security, the inhabitants would face great difficulties. The delegation demanded of the DCO being the Chairman of its Trust to take solid measures for the solution to all the problems besides stopping police personal recruitment in stadium premises.
