LAHORE - On the direction of Capital City Police Officer Muhammad Pervez Rathore, office numbers, mobile numbers and fax numbers of all the divisional SPs including operations and investigation are being issued for the convenience of the people. These all numbers have been made public to facilitate the people to contact the concerned police officers as complaints were on the rise that the senior police officers were not easily available to the people of their jurisdictions in emergency situation and for complaints. The initiative has been taken in connection with the ongoing efforts of the IGP Punjab as well as the CCPO Lahore who wanted to make the police officers public servant and their easy access to the masses in redressing complaints more effectively. The capital city police officer has directed all the divisional SPs to attend their mobile phones personally and also take legal action on all the applications received through faxes.
