LAHORE Veteran journalist, writer and education expert Prof Mohammad Rafique Alam has passed away on Sunday due to cardiac arrest. He was 68. Alam was columnist of daily Nawa-i-Waqt and supporter of Nazria-e-Pakistan. He the writer of a number of books on different subjects. His funeral prayer will be offered at Qaid Public School today (Monday) at 8am. He was born on Oct 5, 1943. He did his masters in English from PU. Later, he adopted teaching profession. He worked with many newspapers including Nawa-i-Waqt. He also worked with television and radio. He rendered his services for Nazaria-e-Pakistan Trust for a long time.
