Scattered showers to continue

LAHORE - Parts of the country received scattered thundershowers on Tuesday, while expert say conditions are to persist.
Partly cloudy weather, scattered rains and windy conditions maintained mercury at a low level, making weather pleasant.
Rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Quetta, Kalat, Lahore, Sargodha divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Maximum and minimum temperature in Lahore was recorded 37Celsius and 22C respectively. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded 34 per cent. According to the experts, western disturbance is present over Kashmir and adjoining areas and likely to move northeastward.  Local meteorological department has forecast dust thunderstorm-rain is expected at isolated places in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
On Tuesday, Balakot received 21 mm rain, Rawalakot 15 mm, Kakul 10 mm, Quetta 09 mm, Malamjabba and Garhi Dupatta 08 mm each, Pattan 06 mm, Lahore 05 mm, Dir and Barkhan 04 mm each, Parachinar 03 mm, Noorpur Thal 02 mm, Drosh, Kalam, Kalat and Muzaffarabad 01 mm each.
