Robbers on rampage

LAHORE - Dacoits Tuesday continued their looting spree in the provincial capital, looted five houses and made off with cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 2.5 million after at gunpoint, police sources claimed. 
Five gunmen forced their entry into the house of Asjad Samad in Nawab Town police area and snatched away cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 600,000 after holding the inmates hostage at gunpoint.
Three armed bandits burst into the house of Ahsan in the Nishtar Colony and fled away after collecting cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 500,000.
Robbers equipped with pistols forced their entry into the house Qasim Zubair in Shahdara Town and took away cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth Rs 500,000.
Four gunmen stormed into the house of Sharjeel Hussain in Nawan Kot and snatched away cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 400,000.
Armed bandits entered the house of Majid Jamshaid in Faisal Town, held up the family members and escaped after collecting cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 500,000.
