At least seven people were killed while several others injured in separate fog-related road incidents in Punjab, police said. The fog blanketed the Lahore motorway and GT road, police added. At least 10 vehicles collided with one another near Ravi Toll Plaza owing to dense fog, killing one and injuring four others. A motorist was also killed in a head-on collision of with a truck at Multan road. In Kala Shah Kaku a truck collided with a rickshaw due to low visibility, killing the rickshaw driver on the spot. The Met department has predicted that the fog would continue for few days. Lower visibility caused difficulties for commuters to reach to their offices, businesses and schools. Meanwhile, the motorway police cautioned that traveling should be avoided during the time when fog prevailed the area. Police said that the road users should use fog lights while traveling. Yellow light has the most visibility during fog. The police directed to avoid travelling on motorway, they added.
