LAHORE - Two people were murdered while three others wounded seriously during street fight in Iqbal Town on Tuesday, police said.
Malik Talib Hussain, 50, exchanged harsh words with his neighbour Malik Shafi and his sons Nadeem and Waseem for keeping their kiosk open till late night. The man got infuriated, took out a gun, and opened fire Shafi and his sons. The shopkeepers also opened fire on Talib. As a result, Talib died on the spot while Shafi, his son Nadeem, and a passerby Zaheer Shah sustained multiple bullet injuries. They were rushed to a hospital where, where Shafi was pronounced as brought dead. The condition of Nadeem was also reported to be critical till Tuesday night. Police have removed the bodies to the morgue for autopsy. Heavy police contingents are deployed in the area to avert any further clash since the both the rival parties are neighbours. Further investigation was underway.
