Three die in Lahore road crashes

LAHORE - Three people were killed in separate  road mishaps in different parts of the provincial metropolis, police and rescue workers said on Tuesday.
Resident of Faisalabad, Muhammad Ikram riding on a motorcycle along with his friend Ilyas was going to a nearby market when a rashly driven car bumped into his two-wheeler at Multan Road in Chuhng. Ikram died on the sport while Ilyas was rushed to a hospital. The car driver managed to escape from the crime scene.
A rickshaw driver was killed when his three-wheeler smashed into a roadside three in Township. Police said that father of four, Muhammad Khan, was going to deliver some goods on his auto-rickshaw when his three-wheeler hit the tree. Meanwhile, an unidentified man was killed when a rashly-driven truck ran over him in Shafiqabad. Police have arrested the truck driver and are investigating.
