LAHORE- The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid on Saturday called for a retraction of fresh hike in prices of essential items and eatables after announcement of the budget.
“The people are worried over hike in prices of essential items even before approval of the budget,” observed top PML-Q leader Pervaiz Elahi while talking to party leaders and workers in Gujrat.
According to a statement released by PML-Q media cell, the former deputy prime minister was accompanied by Mian Imran Masood, Ejaz Ahmad of Shahdola Town and Azmat Shah among others.
Pervaiz Elahi spent a very busy day and besides meeting party leaders he visited many companions and workers.
The Q-League central leader visited former nazim Shehzad Gul and greatly appreciated his services to the party. Attaullah Gill, Haji Sagheer Ahmad, Ch Asghar Tel Waley and other party workers were also present on this occasion. Pervaiz also met with Zameer Hussain Shah and expressed gratitude to him for his full support to PML-Q in elections.
Meanwhile Pervaiz Elahi offered condolences to Muhammad Aslam and Muhammad Ashraf over the demise of their sister. Besides Syed Mushtaq Hussain Jangi, he also visited residences of Zahid Hussain Shah, Syed Shaukat Waseem, Syed Talib Hussain Shah, Sabir Shah in Medina Syedaan and Syed Alamdar Hussain Shah in Jamalpur Syedaan and offered ‘fateha’ for departed souls.
