LAHORE – The Lahore High Court has been requested for setting up a judicial commission to investigate into more than two dozen deaths of cardiac patients due to use of adulterated medicines oprovided by the Punjab Institute of Cardiology.
Judicial Activism Panel chairman Muhammad Azhar Siddique on Monday filed the petition. He stated that over two dozen patients died and dozens of others are in critical condition due to medicines supplied by PIC. He stated that it was case of sheer negligence of the PIC administration for which they should be taken to task.
