LAHORE - Federal Information Minister Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that there is need to build the soft image of the country through art and rich culture.
Speaking at the inauguration of art and photography exhibition 'The Art of Healing' by Maryam Aftab and Zarmina at the Nairang Art Gallery here Sunday, he said that the society and the State cannot be deprived of its cultural heritage.
To a query, he said that the government was committed to present the true colour of Pakistan to the world through the promotion of art and culture and preserve the cultural heritage of the country.
"Gone are the days when some misled people tarnished the true identity of Pakistan," he stated. Pervaiz Rashid said that the government was committed to showing true identity of the country through cultural activities.
