‘Caught’ with aunt; youth stabs uncle to death


LAHORE – A youth stabbed his maternal uncle to death, shortly after he was caught with his wife in objectionable condition in the limits of Shafiqabad, police said on Monday.
The killer along with the wife of the deceased fled away from the crime scene, police investigators said.  Ali Akbar, 45, said to be a fruit-vendor in Khanewal district, was repeatedly stabbed by Mohsin at the a house located in the Leechia Wala Bagh at the Bund Road late Sunday night. He died on the spot.
His wife Shaheen Bibi was residing in the rented house along with her three children. The woman had developed relations with Mohsin since she had taken a small house on rented close to the residence of the killer.
Mother of three, Shaheen Bibi and Mohsin were present in the room in objectionable condition when the husband arrived home late Sunday.
As the man attacked Mohsin, the youth brutally assaulted him and later repeatedly stabled him. The widow along with her paramour fled away from the crime scene. The deceased was working in Khanewal district as fruit vendor and he used to visit his house once in a month, police investigators said. The police have registered the murder case on the complaint of Muhammad Sharif, brother of the deceased.
The complainant told the police that Mohsin and his brother Khalid stabbed Akbar to death and fled away. The police have removed the dead body to the morgue for autopsy and are investigating.
