LAHORE – PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has said a society based on justice, equality, tolerance and brotherhood can be created only by following in the footsteps of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
In his message on Thursday, Nawaz said: “We need to lead our life according to the Quran and Sunnah to fix our problems and lead an honourable life.”
“To bring prosperity to the country, we must follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH ) who gave us eternal message of sacrifice, tolerance, unity, love and brotherhood,” he added.
Separately, the top leaders of the PML-Q and the PTI have urged the people to follow the Sunnah to transform Pakistan into an Islamic welfare state. In their messages, PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, PTI chairman, Imran Khan and Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said: “We are facing troubles today in our individual and collective life by not following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).”
“The teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) provide guidance not only for the Muslims but also for the entire humanity. We must follow the Sunnah to fix these problems,” they added.
