PML-N helping flood affectees actively: Khosa

LAHORE - Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa has said that the leaders and workers of PML-N are helping the flood affectees and a transparent system has been evolved for their rehabilitation. He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting of coordinators of PML-N held in connection with relief and rehabilitation of flood affectees on Wednesday. He said party had appointed coordinators in various districts of the province for proper distribution of relief items among affectees and the coordinator of that districts from where the relief items were collected, would contact with the coordinators of affected districts to supply the relief items to the concerned DCOs. He said cash is being deposited in the CM Relief Fund and relief items are being distributed among the affectees. He said MNAs, MPAs and ticket holders of each district would be members of coordination committee. He said govt would provide relief and rehabilitate the affectees by decreasing its expenses. However, civil society, well-to-do people and multinational organisations should come forward and lend their helping hands to the government for this national service. Members National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, Mian Marghoob Ahmed, Kh Saad Rafique, Ayaz Amir, Pervaiz Malik, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Provincial Ministers Rana Sanaullah and Malik Nadeem Kamran, Advisors to Chief Minister Raja Ashfaq Sarwar, Dr Saeed Elahi and Members Provincial Assembly Rana Arshad, Rana Muhammad Afzal and other members and office-bearers of party attended the meeting.
