Wardens to get Iftari at duty points

LAHORE - The City Traffic Police (CTP) will provide Iftari to traffic wardens on duty in Ramazan. According to a traffic police spokesperson, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Sohail Chaudhry said that the CTP had evolved an effective plan to control traffic at Iftar time and all possible arrangements had also been finalised so that citizens could easily reach their destinations. He said that SPs, DSPs, circle officers and sector In-charges would be present on roads at Iftar time. He added that the wardens, deployed at all main intersections in the city, would be provided with Iftari at their duty points. He directed the circle officers under the supervision of SPs to conduct patrolling in their circles at Iftar time and ensure provision of Iftaari to wardens. The CTO also urged people to cooperate with wardens and follow traffic rules and laws for their own convenience as well as others.
