Sporadic light and heavy rains continued lashing the city here, while more rains predicted for the next 24 hours by the Met. Department. Intermittent rains persisted in the Punjab provincial capital here for the last two days, which pulling down the mercury made the weather pleasant. Met office has forecast more rains in the next 24 hours, while Lahore is expected recording maximum temperature at 34 degree Celsius. Besides Lahore, torrential rains also lashed Sheikhupura, Gojranawala, Chiniot, Bhera and other parts of Punjab.
