At least five dacoits were killed in what police termed was the worst police encounter in the history of Faisalabad, meanwhile, two of their associates succeeded in fleeing, report said. According to reports imbibed with the efficiency of Faisalabad police, as many as 7 bandits were fleeing away after looting a fuel station located on Jhang Road, when police intercepted them near Liaquatabad to start of an alleged encounter. On seeing police approaching, dacoits allegedly opened fire at them but police retaliated so efficiently that the encounter left five culprits dead but all police remained unhurt.
