Lahore - The Lahore High Court on Friday directed the head of Joint Investigation Team in Future Concern fraud case to file its report before the court on the next date of hearing fixed as November 15th.
Justice Mazhar Iqbal Sindhu of the Lahore High Court was hearing the case.
The petitioners submitted that accused Asim Malik, chief executive of an immigration consultancy firm Future Concern, and his wife had taken money from them for sending them abroad but defrauded them.
They said the law enforcing agencies had failed to arrest the accused and recover their money. Upon which the judge directed the investigation team to complete the investigation and file report before the court till next date of hearing.
Earlier, the court was informed that the Federal Investigation Agency had registered 157 cases against Asim Malik while his wife had also been made an accused in some cases.
On previous hearings the court was informed that that the passports of the couple had been cancelled and both were living in Dubai.
The petitioners counsel said FIA officials were conniving with Asim Malik as his wife Zubia Rubab was present in the country on the eve of general elections but FIA intentionally did not nab her.
Hundreds of petitioners had moved to Lahore High Court against Asim Malik and his wife for getting huge sums to send them abroad but neither he helped them to go abroad nor gave their money back.
