OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Prominent journalist and Newsweek Chief Editor Fasih Ahmad has strongly condemned the abduction of slain Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseers son, Shahbaz Taseer. In a statement issued on Friday, Fasih Ahmad demanded of the government to make all-out efforts for the early recovery of Shahbaz Taseer and give exemplary punishment to the culprits. He said the political parties should avoid scoring points on serious issues like the law and order situation and should cooperate with each other to remove feelings of uneasiness and insecurity in the society. He said the Taseer family has already suffered much. He said if any witness has any information about the abduction then he must come forward and contact the authorities.
