LAHORE - Additional District and Sessions Judge Malik Tariq Mehmood Zargham on Monday directed the Factory Area SHO not to harass a woman.
The woman told the court that the police in connivance with her father and brother were threatening her over her marriage. Fiaz Mai said she tied the knot with Allah Rakha on November 23, but her father and brother were forcing her to get divorce.
She told the court that on November 24, police conducted raid to ‘harass’ her.
She appealed to the court to direct the Factory Area SHO to avoid harassment.
RELEASED: Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Arshad released an accused after his guilt was not proved in a double -murder case. Accused Muhammad Amin was arrested by Johar Town police on charges to kill deceased Muhammad Saleem and Shah Muhammad in 2008. After hearing the detailed arguments, the judge released the accused after his guilt could not be proved in the case.
