LAHORE - Cardiologists from Pakistan and other countries delivered lectures on the last day of International Conference on Cardiology at a local hotel on Saturday. Punjab Institute of Cardiology organized the three day conference and PIC Health Talk to equip young doctors with modern development in cardiac surgery. Prof Stephen Richards, Prof Zahid Aslam Awan, Dr Salman Munir, Dr Anjum Rana, Prof Ijaz Ahmed, Prof Ameer Malik, Prof Bilal S Mohiuddin, Dr Ashraf Dar, Dr Amer Hameed, Prof Shahid Malik and others shared their knowledge and experience with the participants.
The organizers also showed different surgical procedures to the participants through video link from Angiography Lab of PIC.
Addressing the concluding session, Prof Bilal Zikriya expressed hope that the conference would help enhancing knowledge and capabilities of young doctors and they would be able to treat cardiac patients in a better way.
At the end, Prof Stephen Richards, Prof Bilasl Zikriya and Prof Prof Bilal S Mohiuddin distributed prizes and shields among doctors who showed good performance in the conference. Joint Secretary PIC Heart Talk Dr Amer Bandesha presented a souvenir to the organizer of the conference.
