LAHORE - PML-N lawmaker Ishtyaq Ahmad has announced that no one would be allowed to set up poultry and fish market at Bakkar Mandi adjacent to Sabza Zaar.
He was addressing a ceremony held at the residence of Sabza Zaar Welfare Society President Saeed Aasi.
He said that they fought for establishing slaughter house and cattle market outside the city for ten years, now they are ready to resist establishing any poultry and fish form at this place. He told the participants that DCO suggested such markets be installed here, but he would not allow them to do so. He said the road construction at D-Block is included is his priority, which was damaged during pipeline scheme.The other speakers included Saeed Aasi, Mian Marghoob Ahmed Afzal Khan, Muhammad Arshad, Mian Riaz, Ch Manzoor Ahmad, Rana Lateef and renowned journalist Anjum Rasheed.
