LAHORE  - Former Punjab chief secretary Javed Qureshi passed away on Sunday. The funeral of the deceased will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) at 9am at his residence 193-A1 Township, Lahore.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Javed Qureshi. In a condolence message, the chief minister said that Qureshi was an honest and dutiful officer. He prayed that may Allah rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude.HANDOUT
