LAHORE - Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has said Imran Khan should have judged his popularity through the smallest rally taken out by Tehrik-e-Insaaf in the history of Pakistan. He should become cricket coach by leaving politics so that he could save his honour and respect which he had earned through cricket. Whenever Pakistani people have found any opportunity to express their point of view, they have always rejected Imran Khan in politics, he added. Rana Sanaullah Khan advised Imran Khan to leave the politics of misleading the masses and by showing responsibility should give practicable proposals for resolution of their real problems. He said that we played the role of vanguard for promoting politics of decency, independence of judiciary and supremacy of law and constitution and will do so in future as well. Rana Sanaullah said Imran Khan who talked about revolution can only make criticism whereas Punjab government believes in service to the masses. He said people will hold accountable to Imran Khan for living in the palaces of Bani Gala and visiting America and European countries for nine months in a year and knowing his source of income. He said that Imran Khan made efforts throughout country for success of his rally and spent a huge amount but failed miserably. Law Minister said Punjab government had fulfilled all its legal and constitutional obligations with regard to Raymond Davis. Had Punjab government not taken clear cut stance on this issue, a case would not have been registered against Raymond Davis, he added. Punjab government not only registered a case against Raymond Davis as per law but also submitted a challan in the court. He said that Punjab government had played no role in the release of Raymond Davis on courts decision and accepting the blood money (Diyat) by the heirs of the slain. He said neither Imran Khan helped the heirs of the deceased on the issue of Raymond Davis nor his any lawyer appeared in the court but he has made only sloganeering. Rana Sanaullah said the responsibility of pardoning Raymond Davis and accepting blood money by the heirs lied on Imran Khan as he had been utilizing them in his public meetings and processions for political purposes. Had he provided a lawyer of his party and paid the blood money to the heirs out of donations being collected by him, the nation would not have been faced such humiliation by accepting the blood money, he concluded.
