LAHORE - The Law Society taking an initiative for Rule of Law has selected sixty professionals for training of criminal investigation laws under the Continuing Professional Development programme.
The third criminal investigation workshop under the auspices of The Law Society will be held tomorrow at 4pm at Law Society's Secretariat, Sir Ganga Ram Trust Building, 53-The Mall, Lahore.
The Law Society aims to provide systematic capacity building for lawyers, government officials and media persons (Crime and Court Reporters). This workshop is designed to train the future leadership of professionals and is an initiative for Rule of law by the society.
Guest speaker Naseer-ud-Din Khan Nayyer, Advocate Supreme Court and also the prosecution Incharge in high treason case against former dictator Pervaiz Musharaf, will address the participants. Advocates and other professionals selected for the training are included Asma Latif, Sanah Ashraf, Uzma Awan,Uzma Islam, Sumaira Tufail, Sabeen Roop Hayat Tarar and others.
