Imran’s diatribe nothing to do with reality, says Sanaullah

LAHORE  - Punjab Minister for Law and Local Government Rana Sanaullah Khan stated on Sunday seeing his dark future in politics, Imran Khan has resorted to negative politics and after his defeat in elections, he has been making statements which have nothing to do with reality.
“It is a fact that the so-called tsunami has ended after people rejected PTI in elections,” he added in a statement.
The minister said Imran Khan could not hoodwink the people by indulging in negative politics.
“He (Imran Khan) has accepted election results in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; he has no major complaint regarding election results in Sindh; he does not talk about election results of Balochistan, but only wants to hide his defeat under allegations of vote-rigging in Punjab,” Sanaullah went on to say.
The minister further said Imran Khan had adopted double standards by declaring the May elections as the worst in the country’s history, and then making government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and becoming a Parliament member.
According to him, Imran Khan was worried over the fact that his party workers might not leave him so he started issuing such statements only to encourage his workers.
He wondered why Khan termed election to NA-126 transparent where his party won and spoke of rigging in NA-125 where he faced a defeat. He asked Khan to tell whom he was trying to befool.
Sanaullah also said all the parties had expressed their confidence in independent election commission and people had given historic mandate to PML-N in the elections and Imran Khan should accept the decision of the people openheartedly.
He said there were several complaints that despite receiving Rs20million from a number of candidates running election campaign for an year, party tickets were changed one day before allotment of election symbols.
He said he was ready to provide evidence regarding this to Imran Khan. He also advised him to take notice of these incidents within his own party where workers of PTI received office-bearers of his party in Faisalabad with rotten eggs and tomatoes.
