LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister had staged an inauguration drama after keeping closed Faisalabad Industrial Estate for six years, which was established by our government, stated PML-Q Punjab President, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
He made this claim while giving notification to PML-Q Hafizabad District President Asif Chattha on Wednesday.
He said that keeping Faisalabad Industrial Estate, established over 4500 acres during PML-Q rule, closed for six years by the incumbent rulers and now staging its inauguration drama was a serious joke with the nation. He further claimed that industrial estate on M-3 had become functional in 2006 after completion of infrastructure facilities.
PML-Q government had provided grid station, sewerage, drainage, roads and other facilities, while the process of setting up of industries had started, he stated.
Pervaiz also claimed that the incumbent provincial rulers were not setting up new industries but only signing MOUs. He said that that investment could not be attracted by merely signing MOUs.
