LAHORE - Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif, in a belated attack on the Nato strike on Pakistani check-post in Mohmand Agency, on Monday condemned the uncalled for airstrike an attack on Pakistans sovereignty. Addressing a ceremony held in connection with the Iqbal Day at Queens Marry College, she talked about the sacrifices of Pakistan made in the war on terror. She added: Enough is enough and I reject Pakistans further affiliation with the US. The American financial support to our country, she said, was not obligatory, adding Pakistan could survive even without it. She recited the poetry of Allama Iqbal that stressed upon considering the self-esteem, search and struggle. She also invited the students to take part in politics and said they should come forward and join hands with her adding the women that comprise 52 percent of the total population of the country could play a constructive role in national development. Maryam Nawaz said that cowardice lead to nowhere but death, adding that Allama Iqbal had considered it a synonym of crime. We, she stressed, should not be a victim of inferiority complex but become brave and courageous. Feeling proud of her fathers decision to go for Atomic explosions in response to the Indias, she said then PM Nawaz Sharif had rejected all international pressure.
