CM visits Ittefaq Hospital

LAHORE - Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited Ittefaq Hospital on Wednesday and enquired after the health of dengue fever patients besides getting information about the treatment facilities being provided to them. The patients expressed their satisfaction over the medical facilities being provided to them and the cooperation extended by the doctors and medical staff due to which they were not facing any problem. They said that excellent arrangements had been made for the treatment of dengue fever patients, for which, they were thankful to him. The chief minister said that beside government hospitals, free treatment facilities were also being provided to dengue patients in private hospitals and the maximum fee for dengue test has been fixed at Rs.90 in private laboratories. He said that the capacity of government hospitals had been increased through provision of additional staff and machines. He said that those serving the humanity in this difficult time were earning the blessings of Allah. Medical Superintendent of the hospital informed the CM that 60 beds had been allocated for dengue patients who were being provided free treatment facilities.
