The wife and mother-in-law of slain Faizan, who was killed by CIA spy Raymond Davis last year, were killed in Johar Town area here in Lahore on Monday.
According to police sources, Faizan’s wife named Zohra and her mother Nabila were allegedly murdered by his father-in-law at their residence in Johar Town over a family dispute. Police said that both the women were found dead at their residence.
Police sources further said that slain Faizan’s mother-in-law Nabila wanted second marriage of her widow daughter but her husband Shehzad did not give his permission in this regard.
Police said that the domestic dispute turned violent on Monday when the accused Shehzad opened fire at his wife and his daughter, killing both of them on the spot. The accused managed to flee from the scene after killing them.
After the incident, police reached the scene and cordoned off the entire area. Police started search and investigation for hunting an accused.
Faizan’s widow had shifted to Johar Town recently after he was killed by US spy Raymond Davis on Jan 27, 2011 along with two other men in Lahore. The bodies were shifted to a hospital for postmortem.
