Two more die of drug reaction, toll mounts to 119

Death toll in mysterious medicine reaction has climbed to 119 in the past three weeks as two more patients died on Monday.
According to details, Rahat, 60, and Yaseen, 70, who were under treatment in Service Hospital Lahore, breathed their last due to lack of platelets and count of white blood cells in their bodies.
The reaction came to the open after cardiac patients were provided medicines in Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC).
The Punjab Government has taken action against doctors by suspending some, but no one has so far been held responsible for the uncontrolled deaths and acquisition of contaminated medicines.
The citizens seem worried and frightened over the continuous deaths. They have expressed their dissatisfaction over the provincial government's steps taken to save the precious lives and urged to take the matter seriously.
They also demanded for fixing responsibility and stern action against the accused.
