Four persons were killed and eight others sustained serious burn injuries when fire broke out in the office of Koh-i-noor TV channel in Garhi Shahu area here in Lahore on Monday morning.
According to rescue-1122, fire broke out suddenly in the TV station and it engulfed the whole office instantly. As a result about 12 persons present in the office sustained serious burn injuries.
Rescue-1122 teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Mayo Hospital where four persons including three 'Naat Khawan' were succumbed to burn injuries.
The dead were identified as Qaisar, Salman, Hanif and Abu Bakar.
Meanwhile Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif took serious notice of the incident and constituted a committee to probe the fire incident and sought report with in 24 hours.
