LAHORE: Mujahid Squad police Sunday claimed to have seized 40 bags of explosive material from a suspicious van trying to enter into the city and arrested two accused.
Spokesman for the police said that the cops were on duty at Ravi Bridge when they signaled a van to stop, on which driver of the van tried to escape but the police chased the van and succeeded to stop it. During search 40 bags of explosive material were recovered after which police arrested two accused Hazrat Khan and Malik Saeed Khan who were boarding the van. SP Mujahid Squad announced cash prize and certificates for the police party. –Staff Roporter
