Body formed to stop bridge construction

LAHORE (APP) - An action committee has been formed to stop the construction of the overhead bridge in front of the main gate of the Social Security Hospital Multan Road, Lahore. The PMA spokesman said here on Sunday that the committee would be comprised of the representatives of PMA, SSDA, Patient Welfare Society, doctors council, labour federation and patients. Prof Dr Muhammad Ashraf Nizami has been made the chairman of the committee, the combined labour federations Nazir Shehzad has been made the general secretary. General Secretary SSDA Dr Nasir Qureshi and Dr Nisar Baloch will be vice president while Dr Hammad Naeem Rana, Dr Naeem Shah Kazmi, Muhammad Hanif, Rana Farman Advocate and from PMA Lahore Dr Izhar Ahmed Ch., Dr Shahid Malik will be members of the committee. The action committee would soon finalise the plan for next protest on the issue.
