The PPP MNA also met with the party district presidents and discussed with them organisational matters while she was briefed on a convention being held at Aiwan-e-Iqbal in connection with the local bodies elections in Punjab.
During the meeting with her, PPP Punjab President Imtiaz Safdar suggested direct talks with the Punjab government on LB polls, but she did not incline to interfere in the provincial affairs. However, she wanted the Punjab government to respect the popular aspirations.
