Bab-e-Pakistan Foundation to be set up

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the same spirit is needed today to steer the country out of problems which was displayed by the Muslims of the Sub-continent during Pakistan Movement, stated a Press release.
He said that the dream of Allama Iqbal and Quaid-i-Azam can be materialised only if the nation adopted the motto of hard work, trust and sincerity.
He said that the construction of monument for the heroes of Pakistan and its ideology is a debt on us and a duty as well.
He said that Bab-e-Pakistan project is of great importance for highlighting the ideology of Pakistan.
He was presiding over a high-level meeting with regard to Bab-e-Pakistan Project, here on Sunday.
Secretary Information gave a detailed briefing to the Chief Minister about Bab-e-Pakistan project. The meeting decided to set up Bab-e-Pakistan Foundation whereas other proposals were also considered.
Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Provincial Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Members Assembly Yasin Sohail, Mian Naseer Ahmad, Chief Secretary, Chairman Planning and Development, Secretary Communication & Works, Secretary Information, Secretary Sports, Special Secretary Finance, Commissioner Lahore and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Bab-e-Pakistan Project is very important for young generation with regard to Pakistan Resolution and establishment of Pakistan. He said that this project is being executed in the memory of those hundreds of thousands of people who migrated from India to Pakistan at the time of creation of the country. No doubt, those objectives could not be achieved even after passage of six decades for which Pakistan was created but still there is time for us to work hard for achieving those goals, he added.
Shahbaz Sharif said that 74 years ago, the Muslims under the banner of Muslim League at Minar-e-Pakistan set the goal of achieving an independent motherland through Pakistan Resolution where everyone had equal opportunities of progress.
He said that an independent country was achieved after numerous sacrifices and great struggle but the dreams of founders of Pakistan have still not been materialised.
He disclosed that Board of Governors will also be set up for Bab-e-Pakistan Project. He said that we have to change the obsolete system and make the country a welfare state in the real sense through hard work, trust, devotion and dedication. He said that Pakistan can be put on the road to progress and development through hard work and collective efforts. He said that although this is a difficult task yet not impossible.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif presided over a high-level meeting here which was especially participated by Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq. Chief Secretary Punjab, Inspector General Police, DG Rangers, IG Railway, Secretary Home and other concerned officials were also present.  The meeting reviewed the measures taken in the Punjab province for the protection of Railway track and installations.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister assured that all out cooperation would be extended to Railways Ministry for the protection of Railway tracks. While constituting committee headed by Secretary Home, he directed the committee to submit its report within seven days so that a future strategy could be adopted for this purpose. Railway Minister Kh Saad Rafique said that an effective patrolling system has been evolved for protection of Railway track.
He said that Punjab government led by Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has fully supported Ministry of Railways for which he is thankful to Shahbaz Sharif.
