Banned outfits disallowed hides collection

LAHORE The Provincial government is going to impose ban on banned outfits organisations for collection of sacrificial hides on Eidul Azha. A government spokesman said on Sunday that the provincial government is going to implement such decision under chalked out security plan in connection with Eid and according to the security plan all the banned organisations would not be entitled to set up camps in provincial capital and other cities for collecting sacrificial hides. All the banned outfits have also been directed not to place banners and install camps to collect sacrificial hides on Eid, he added. The list includes the names of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Sipahe Muhammad Pakistan, Lashkare Tayyaba, Jaish-e-Muhammad, Sipahe Sahaba Pakistan, Tehreek Nafaz-e-Shariat-e-Muhammadi, Tehreeke Jafria Pakistan, Millat-e- Islamia Pakistan, Khudam-ul-Islam, Islami Tehreeke Pakistan, Hizb-ul-Tehreer, Jamiat-ul-Ansaar, Jamat-ul-Furqan, Khair-ul-Nisa International Trust, Islamic Students Movement Pakistan, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Jamat-ul-Dawa, etc, he further added Earlier, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik on previous day said the government would not allow members of banned outfits to collect hides during Eidul Azha. He said government has formulated a code of conduct and this has to be complied by each and every organization as well as group keen to collect hides from people during Eid. The minister said case would be registered under Anti Terrorist Act against individuals or groups involved in hide snatching.
