In order to develop tax culture in the country, politicians, especially high-profile figures, should come forward and publicly announce the amount of their tax returns and even the number of their NTN. This should apply irrespective to all the President, the Prime Minister, Governors, Chief Ministers, or any other political personality so that the general public should come to know the amount of money they pay. The government should legislate to make it obligatory on parliamentarians to declare their assets, sources of income and the taxes they pay.
