Imran Farooq, a former convener of MQM, was stabbed to death outside his home in Edgware on September 16th. Strict security measures were taken regarding his funeral and burial, which took place after 50 days of his death in Karachi. At least 5,000 security personnel of rangers and police were deployed for the security. Stringent security arrangements were taken especially around the airport. We have never seen such security arrangements before? Apparently, our lives do not matter much to the leaders in power.
