“Future Building depends on promotion of education - promotion of education is the key to development” says none other than the Chief Minister of Balochistan Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani in a quarter page color advertisement released by Government of Balochistan in all the major national dailies of Pakistan on Saturday October 20.
Isn’t Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani the same person who had proudly told this nation “a degree is a degree - whether genuine or fake”? After saying these memorable words, does he have any moral right to spend the exchequers money on advertisements like the one he has proudly released with his photograph on it? I would also like to know that as governor for four and half years how many schools and colleges did he open in Balochistan, and what measure did he take to promote education?
