Had Nawaz Sharif an iota of conscience or moral dignity he would have resigned, after hearing slogans of ‘Go Nawaz Go’, but he clearly lacks moral dignity. If he truly believes that he represents the people of Pakistan, he should resign and ask for re-elections. He is sure he will never be elected again, which is why he is stubbornly holding on to his rule. Ayub Khan left after hearing one word against him, but not Nawaz Sharif; both the brothers are businessmen who are using their power to cash in. I wonder why the SC has not ordered the implementation of registration of an FIR for the 17 murdered in Model Town incident. Is this democratic? This is one issue the TV channels should be focusing on.
