Access to food and water is a universal human right, but it seems that this is not clear to our government, which is why millions are reeling under extreme hunger and thirst in this country. I know that there have been discussions about the provision of food and clean water among the Planning Commission, Ministry Of Planning and the Development & Reforms Islamabad, but no one knows when access to food, healthy food, clean air and water will become a reality in this country, while the ill-fated people bear the brunt of environmental hazards and the acute shortage of water in rural and urban Pakistan.
