LAHORE- Federal Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique today questioned Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s lack of preparation to hold talks with the government if he was supposedly ready for negotiations with the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Addressing the beginning of the celebrations of 'Jashn-e-Azadi' at the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal, Rafique stated that the government would continue persuading Imran Khan until the night of August 13 for holding talks instead of launching any march towards Islamabad.
He expressed his surprise over Khan, who is an ardent advocate of talks with the Taliban, being unwilling to enter into dialogue with the government.
He warned that anybody taking the law into his own hands on August 14 would himself bear the consequences.
