SIALKOT - As many three officials of the District Health Department sustained severe burns due a fire caused by sui gas leakage after a loud explosion at District Health Office here on Tuesday.
Reportedly, the fire engulfed the entire building after an explosion at the accountant’s office of the District Health Office when somebody tried to light a gas heater. Resultantly, three health department officials namely Amanat, Abdul Sattar and Zulfiqar sustained severe burns. The room was also damaged badly. The Rescue 1122 reached the spot and shifted the injured to a local hospital. It has been learnt that due to leakage gas was gathered in the room which caused a blast and the subsequent fire. The police are investigating the incident.
