Some of the participants of the rally were inviting the traders standing outside their shops and other people to join the rally to express their solidarity with the heirs of missing persons. While addressing, the speakers vehemently condemned the criminal mum on the part of rulers as well as other powerful institutions of the country over the issue of missing persons. They said that former military dictator and president General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf sold innocent men and women to the USA for few dollars. They said that PPP-led Government was not making serious efforts for the release of missing persons. The heirs of missing persons have been on roads and facing hardships for long. They are worried for their loved ones while the Government instead of helping them out rubbing salt on their injuries, the speakers lamented. They demanded of heads of all political parties to take interest into the matter so that the heirs could get justice. They also demanded of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to dispense justice to the relatives of missing persons.
