FAISALABAD - The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) is making strenuous efforts to ensure smooth electricity supply to its domestic, agricultural, industrial and commercial consumers around the clock. However, the consumers should also play their role in saving electricity, said Fesco Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Engineer Iftikhar Ahmad.
In a statement issued here, he said that the demand and supply of electricity is almost equal due to a change in the weather. The Fesco by adopting better load management plan successfully provided uninterrupted electricity supply to its consumer in all the 8 districts of this region including Faisalabad, Sargodha, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Khushab and Chiniot," he added.
The Fesco chief said that the company efforts must be reciprocated by the consumers. They should avoid wasteful use of electricity and play a responsible role in saving energy.
He said that the Fesco was also extending free facility for energy audit to its industrial consumers and hoped that they would exploit the facility which would help decreasing electricity bills of the consumers.
