SIALKOT - EDO (Education) Sialkot Sajjad Aslam Kahiloun conducted surprise visits to various government schools in Sialkot district and suspended 24 absent teachers.
He also suspended the 13 staff employees for being found absent from their duties. He also ordered a strict departmental probe against them.
Death sentence: Additional District and Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal Tarar has awarded death sentence for two counts with a fine of Rs200,000 to Abdul Majeed alias Billu for killing two persons Ansar Sharif and Adeela for honour in village Dheedowali in 2008.
