ISLAMABAD - PTI Chairman Imran Khan expelled three of his party MNAs for not tendering their resignations. He also announced that he was parting ways with MNA Javed Hashmi.
Addressing his supporters on Sunday, Khan said the three MNAs – Nasir Khattak from Karak, Gulzar Khan from Peshawar and Musarrat Ahmed on reserved seat from Swat – could no more be the part of the party.
The MNAs had not submitted their resignations to Imran Khan after the PTI chief had asked his lawmakers in the National Assembly to tender resignations as part of their anti-government sit-in that demands resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
"Javed Hashmi, I don't need signals from anyone. After what is done today, our paths are separate now," Imran Khan told the gathering referring to Javed Hashmi who had claimed that the move to shift protest venue to the PM House was Imran's unilateral decision.
