ISLAMABAD- Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has directed party workers to remain calm and peaceful and asked PAT chief Tahir ul Qadri to direct his party workers to stay peaceful. “Tahir ul Qadri should direct his workers to remain peaceful. Reports about clashes between protesters and police are coming. Workers should remain peaceful. We were and will remain peaceful,” he said this while addressing PTI workers from his container today. Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahir ul Qadri has called for formation of national government in the country, he said during his address to the workers from his container Monday. ‘We have occupied Prime Minister (PM) house gate. Now the killer PM will not be allowed to enter into PM house,” he stated. He asked his workers not to allow fugitive PM to pass through this passage at any cost. 17 days have been elapsed but our demands have not been met. Government is not serious, therefore, the dialogue could not move ahead, he held. He underlined that the rulers were product of rigging. “Imran Khan demanded 4 rice from cauldron. How can be such polls correct which were held in unconstitutional manner, he added. Returning officers were involved in polls rigging, he alleged. He went on to say that it has become incumbent on us to free the country from monarchy of Sharif brothers. Their monarchy has held the entire country hostage, he added. “ I had never contacted before and has not made any contact with army chief after my meeting with army chief a few days back”, he remarked. He said that government does not believe in democracy and dialogue. On one hand they make contact for dialogue and on the other hand they don’t step forward, he held. He underscored that a statement has been issued by ISPR that the issue be resolved in political manner through dialogue without pursuing the path of violence. But the government unfortunately does not believe in any other method than violence, he added. “We are not in favor of involvement of army in these matters. Army also does not want to become involved”, he stated.
