SADIQABAD - Unidentified persons on Friday threw acid on a woman and her daughter in Satellite Town area of Sadiqabad.
According to police, a woman namely Momina, 40, and her daughter Amna, 18, were sitting in the lawn of their house when unknown persons threw acid on them and fled.
They were rushed to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital where their condition is said to be out of danger. Both of them sustained injuries on their faces, arms and backs.
Momina said her daughter had tied the knot with one Ahmed. She added Amna and Ahmed got divorced after some domestic disputes. 
She accused Ahmed of carrying out the act. Police filed the case at City Police Station against four unknown persons and started investigation.
Man kills sister for ‘honour’
CHINIOT(Staff Reporter):A man killed his sister in the name of honour here in suburban village of Bhuwana on Friday.
As per details, Faisal, a resident of Ohbhan village, Bhuwana suspected the character of his sister and had warned her time and again to mend her ways.
The girl was in her house when he came and shot her dead. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
